Earth Hour

I’m a little late with this, but if you still have time you can participate in Earth Hour.  Turn off all lights for one hour at 8pm.  Watch the video for more information and visit their site for full details.

I wish I still lived in Chicago.  This would be really cool to be a part of city wide.

Google is taking part and they are symbolizing it with their dark home page today.

    That is pretty cool. No such luck here in Hong Kong though. I think it might be too dangerous with the thousands of boats in the harbor at any given time though.

    When you say 8pm, you mean 8pm Central Standard Time, right?

    It was for 8pm local time. It was expected to happen at night so it had to be done local time in all time zones.
