Google Health

Google is very big on information and on users having access to as much of this information as possible (especially through their ad based services). They’ve recently started a pilot program with the Cleveland Clinic to test out Google Health. It is intended to be a way for doctors and patients to manage medical records collaboratively.

Personally, I like the idea of having more access to my personal records and this would be a nice solution. Previously, I’ve had to keep track of a large file folder with my medical info, but I’ve since lost track of where that ended up. Probably at one of the medical offices I went into years ago. I’m still not sure where all my records are currently since I haven’t had a regular doctor since I was a kid. What are your thoughts?

I think you need to go get a check-up.

As long as the information is not publicly available, I think it’s a great idea. If they’d roll it out already. :D
